Dial by Alias

Dial an internal alias to reach a station. Allows users to call a colleague directly by dialing their alias number, without knowing the technical extension.

⚙️How it works

1

The caller dials an alias number (e.g., 100, 200)

2

The system looks up the extension associated with that alias

3

The call is routed to the corresponding station

4

If the alias does not exist, the call follows the error output

💡Use cases

  • Simplified dialing for employees
  • Internal directory by short number
  • Routing by station number rather than technical extension
